The Cure, at Red Rocks Amphitheatre
(I did not take these pictures.)
Majestic red cliffs surrounding, city lights lining the horizon, and who needs strobe lights when nature gives you lightning storms over the plains?
Nearly three solid hours of The Cure Goodness. Apparently they grant wishes, too.. Every song I wished for, they subsequently played, and then some. It's not often a band actually sounds better live, but THEY DO.
My only regret is not bringing my camera, because the tickets said cameras weren't allowed, and mine's a bit bulky for hiding.. yet it turns out I could have had it there. So I googled these photos taken by someone else at the show.
All in all, one of the best live performances I have ever seen. I wish I could rewind my life and do it again.
